Cascade platform and remote services

Build around the generic Telecom Platform, the Cascade platform provides the possibility for operators to deploy a Java Card application remotely for pilots and integration purposes.

With the Cascade platform, Simulity provides a way to deploy and test innovative Smartcard services in the field, despite the handsets and/or the card platforms being not available, solving a common integration problem (such as the lack of handsets supporting SATSA (JSR 177) on the market today).

Integration of a Java Card service into the Cascade platform follows these simple steps :

Summary of Cascade features :

Cascade and SAT services

To demonstrate the flexibility of the SATlite platform, Simulity hosts a Sim Application Toolkit showroom, with the rendering part of the application hosted in the web browser.

This showroom is directly connected to the associated service built on top of the Telecom Platform - the virtual handset operates in the real deployment server environment with no simulation compromise.

Embedded Smartcard

This is an embedded version of the Cascade platform, build for a single user and typically used to test non security critical Smartcard services directly from a handset application
